Typing Sounds: One of My Favorite Sounds of All Time

Time to change things up for today.

There was one thing that I definitely enjoy and that happens to be typing sounds, a kind of sound that some people find either relaxing or interesting. Perhaps both even, especially for me since this blog post was typed on a mechanical keyboard.

So why do I like this kind of sound so much? To be honest, I think it happens to be a sensory kind of thing. It actually makes me feel good about myself. Not only that but I actually prefer to type on a mechanical keyboard because of the way it feels AND sounds!

I always wondered what kind of keyboard especially YOU like to type on. As I was typing this, I tried to do it while listening to some video that was all about the sounds of typing, literally the sound of the video was someone typing!

Turns out I can only do one thing at a time for now because I didn’t do well with being distracted by that video I was listening to. But that’s okay cause that shows how some people, especially people with autism, can’t do multiple things at once!

Which keyboard do you guys prefer? Is it mechanical or membrane? You decide!

20,000 Words…Can I Make It???

A goal I’ve had for a long time that has gotten crazy before but this is the goal I have in mind for now for the first book in my series.

20,000 WORDS. If I can make it to that milestone like I did that one time a couple of years ago, I know that I have the ability to keep going with a certain task. I want those kind of experiences to come back but this time I want it to be faster and stronger most importantly.

It’s also important to remember that giving up will NOT be an option this time. Of course I would take breaks every now and then but they have got to be short breaks this time! I can’t give up! Not just yet…

When I have a rough draft finished for the first book in this new series I’m writing, I will let you guys know when the release date will be. The date it will be released will be in a RANGE of a few days time span sort of thing because I think it takes at least 24-48 hours to get an eBook in stores. Not positive about that yet though!

Not to mention that I can’t reveal details about the book until I copyright it that’s for sure! Also need to remember that to copyright even this particular book, I will need to finish it first. JUST FINISH SOMETHING FOR ONCE. That’s what I always try to tell myself.

Challenge Accepted: The 642 Writing Challenge

Hey guys! I’m really sorry that I haven’t been writing that much ever since who knows when but I WILL get back on track this time because I’m going to challenge myself to finish this book, known as “642 Things to Write About Me”.

It happens to be a famous book of some sort so I decided to give it a go with this. The way this will work is that I will try my very best to answer TWO prompts from this book every day till completion but here’s the kicker: You get to see it on my blog!

That means I might have to create a new category but I don’t think it would be needed to do that. All I can say is that with this kind of challenge means more exposure not only for me but possibly others too inspiration wise. Starting today will begin the challenge.

Which also means that I must get my butt off my laziness and start being productive for once!

Wish me luck on this challenge. Also be prepared for an UNEXPECTED post that will happen in the future. I’ll give you a hint though: It relates to writing books!

Mechanical Keyboards Are So Much Better Than Those Thin Keyboards!

I don’t know why many companies are starting to switch to those really thin keyboards these days. It’s like I DO like the way technology is changing these days BUT there are just certain things I’m just not liking including the fact that all keyboards are starting to change to those futuristic thin ones.

There are reasons why I think mechanical keyboards are so much better than those future ones. It’s mainly because of feel and sounds from them. Of course they are an old school thing because they just are but I bet that I’m not the only one that happens to like those things.

Some people just prefer to even go completely old fashion including with books too before you know it! To me, it’s a matter of just keeping things balanced with the old and the new. Hopefully you guys get what I mean!

Also to be honest that I typed all of this text you just read with a mechanical keyboard…HA!

Just Starting Off…Again…

Wow this piece of writing I’ve done yesterday took me about 30 MINUTES!

The heck? Why would it take me so long…? Well it’s probably because I’ve been not handwriting for some time and the fact that I kind of suck at endurance for writing by hand. Just need to try harder that’s for sure!

I’m also having trouble with music these days too so I think I’m going to concentrate on what I do best which is everything else not related to making music. As I’m typing this up, I think my typing has gotten faster! I don’t know yet but who knows!

I’m going to try my very best to keep up with this handwritten journal of mine and of course A Life to Write as well! To top things off I STILL need to get going on my other creations I’m currently working on too! Man I’m busy…HA!

ZEON: THE SERIES (A GRAND KDS Creation)

What’s up guys? You are looking at a picture that happens to be the OFFICIAL logo for my fictional series ZEON!

The reason why I decided to write this series for who knows how long now is because it is not only to explore how crazy my imagination can get but also because I want to do something in life that will not only inspire myself but inspire others too.

The way this series will work is like a TV show so don’t expect all the books in this series to be novel length. They will most likely be about 20,000-35,000 words each so it’s still being determined. But what about the so called ZEONIC EPICS? THAT right there is a TBA as I’m still working on getting the first book done.

If you want to find out what the so called Zeonic Epics are, follow my blog and stay informed! The only way I will reveal to you guys what those epics would be is only if I keep getting requests from you guys to know what they are! BUT if I do reach to the end of the first volume, then I will reveal what they are!

All depends on what will happen in the future!

Lazy But Determined…Sort Of…

Man I don’t know why laziness is ALWAYS getting the best of me. Perhaps it’s because I’ve been not having it with me being at home all the time or something. I have no idea.

The good news though is that I’m STILL determined to get certain things done, including posts with my blog. I also remembered, for instance, that if I were to do 10 posts a day for 100 days, that’s already 1,000 POSTS! Doing something like that though would require so much willpower and determination along with a touch of focus!

It’s weird that I feel lazy but determined at the same time. I’m also noticing that my blog posts have gotten MUCH longer ever since I started to do a blog here! Before they were under even 85 words. Now they’re about double that!

This is only the beginning though as I’m continuing to grow throughout life itself. I’m hoping that someday my blog will skyrocket thanks to what I’m doing now.

Ideas

After my latest blog post I might’ve came up with some ideas for my blog. One of them is where I can be able to do a full blown story on my blog, as if it were to be a series of blogs where all of them together in a certain order would be a novel. Crazy isn’t it?

The problem is this: What story should I come up with to do something like this? Perhaps what can happen is that I’ll do some research on how to come up with a story. Then what will happen is I’ll create an outline. Finally, I will then create the story piece by piece. Of course a master document would need to be created in case I would want to turn it into an actual eBook!

I think it’s just an idea I have but we’ll see what will happen for the future! A new category will then be created called “Stories By KDS” so you guys can find them easily.

Hopefully something will pop into my head and YES Zeon is still in the works!
